Donald E. White

 

Donald E. White was inducted into the DeMolay in Arizona Hall of Fame in 2021. Mr. White served the Arizona DeMolay Foundation for fifteen years, including four years as its President. During his tenure as President, he grew our investments by nearly $30,000 and founded a scholarship that benefitted members of DeMolay for nineteen years.

In 1990, Mr. White worked a sea change in the Foundation's business model by requiring a single and substantial disbursement to DeMolay in Arizona every July. Today, our annual disbursement remains DeMolay's primary funding source, and the check presentation remains a proud tradition.

Mr. White also served as DeMolay in Arizona's Executive Officer from 1986–1992 and briefly served as DeMolay International's Secretary during a transition period. Mr. White passed away in 2009, but not without providing a substantial sum to DeMolay, which served as a coda to his years of support for youth leadership.
